OhSoBright Laundry Paste is designed differently from conventional washing powders. The concentrated paste format changes how the detergent interacts with water, stains, fabric fibres, and fragrance during the wash process.

The result is strong cleaning performance, softer laundry, easier rinsing, and longer-lasting fragrance retention.

## Step 1. Water Preparation and Activation

When laundry paste is added to water, the concentrated formula immediately starts preparing the wash water for cleaning.

Water naturally contains minerals and hardness salts that reduce detergent efficiency, especially in hard water and borehole water conditions.

The concentrated formulation helps soften and condition the water environment first. This allows the surfactants and cleaning agents to work more effectively during the wash cycle.

Because the product is concentrated, smaller dosages deliver strong active cleaning performance without requiring large amounts of detergent.

# Step 2. Surfactants Lift and Remove Dirt

Once clothing is added to the wash water, the surfactants and cleaning agents begin working on the fabric surface.

Surfactants are specialised cleaning molecules designed to:
• Break down grease and oils
• Loosen dirt particles
• Lift stains from fibres
• Suspend dirt in the wash water so it does not reattach to the fabric

Additional active ingredients help target:
• Grease stains
• Body oils
• Everyday dirt
• Food stains
• Alcohol-based stains

Because the detergent is supplied in paste form, the active ingredients disperse evenly through the wash water and can also be applied directly onto stains during pre-treatment.

# Step 3. Fabric Conditioning and Fibre Protection

As stains and dirt are removed, conditioning molecules begin depositing themselves onto the fabric fibres.

These molecules perform several important functions:
• Softening the fabric
• Reducing fibre harshness after washing
• Helping reduce dirt redeposition onto the fabric during drying
• Creating a smoother fibre surface

This is one of the reasons laundry washed with detergent paste often feels softer after washing without requiring a separate fabric conditioner.

# Step 4. Fragrance Retention Technology

One of the major differences between laundry paste and conventional powder detergents is fragrance retention.

The conditioning molecules deposited onto the fabric also help attract and hold fragrance molecules during and after the wash cycle.

This allows:
• Better fragrance attachment to fibres
• Longer-lasting freshness
• Improved scent retention after drying
• Stronger fragrance performance on linen and clothing

Traditional powders often lose fragrance performance after opening because fragrance ingredients evaporate more easily from dry powder systems.

In concentrated laundry paste, fragrance molecules remain better protected within the paste structure until use.

# Step 5. Easier Rinsing and Water Saving

During rinsing, the wash water removes:
• Dissolved dirt
• Grease
• Oils
• Suspended stain particles
• Excess active cleaning ingredients

At the same time, the conditioning and fragrance-support molecules remain attached to the fabric fibres.

Because the detergent dissolves efficiently and leaves less undissolved residue than many conventional powders, rinsing becomes easier and requires less water.

This is especially important in water-stressed environments where water efficiency matters.

# The Final Result

The chemistry of laundry paste creates multiple benefits during a single wash process:

• Strong stain and dirt removal

• Softer laundry without separate conditioner

• Better fragrance retention

• Easier rinsing

• Reduced residue

• Water-saving performance

• Excellent performance on white clothes and linen

• Bleach-free cleaning suitable for coloured fabrics

The result is clean, soft, fresh-smelling laundry with lasting fragrance retention and improved fabric feel after washing.
